The Lake Balaton Weather Widget is a free WordPress plugin that lets you add the real-time weather data of balatoniidojaras.hu to any WordPress website in minutes. The widget automatically shows the current temperature of the Balaton town you choose, the weather icon and description, the water temperature of Lake Balaton, and the current status of the Balaton storm warning.
Whether you run a website for holiday resorts, accommodation, Balaton event guides or a local business, this widget gives your visitors relevant, useful content right away.

Download the Lake Balaton Weather Widget plugin from the WordPress.org directory, or upload the .zip file manually in the WordPress admin under Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin. Once activated, the plugin appears in the admin area right away.
The plugin needs a free API key to work, which you can request at balatoniidojaras.hu/wp-widget. You only need to provide two details: your email address and the URL of your WordPress site. Within a few minutes of your request, you will receive your unique API key by email. The key is free, never expires and is tied to your site only.
Go to Settings → Lake Balaton Weather Widget, enter the API key you received by email, then pick the Balaton town you want to display from the drop-down list. Once you save, the widget is active immediately.
With a shortcode – paste it anywhere on a page. In a widget area – go to Appearance → Widgets and drag the “Lake Balaton Weather” item into the sidebar or widget area you want.
Visitors to websites about Balaton tourism are looking for exactly this information: what is the weather like at Balaton right now, is there a storm warning, is the water warm? The Daily Weather Widget is a free WordPress plugin that brings real-time weather from the napiidojaras.hu database straight to your website. You can choose from several hundred towns in Hungary and beyond its borders – the widget refreshes its data automatically every 15 minutes, and you only set it up once.

Download the Daily Weather Widget plugin from the WordPress.org directory, or upload the .zip file manually via Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin. After activation, the plugin is available immediately.
At napiidojaras.hu/wp-widget you can request a free API key in a few seconds. You only need to provide your email address and the URL of your WordPress site. You will receive the activation link and your key by email right away – no registration, password or payment needed.
Go to Settings → Daily Weather Widget, enter your API key, then pick the town you want from the several hundred available locations. Save – and you’re done.
Shortcode – can be pasted anywhere. In a widget area – drag the “Daily Weather” item into any widget area under Appearance → Widgets.
